Our seminars promote life-long learning at professional, managerial, and executive levels. Seminars will expose participants to new concepts in their field, and to ideas about knowledge leadership, intercultural management, and global business principles. JAIMS offers seminars for both groups and individuals, which can be arranged virtual, in-person or hybrid.

A one-week intensive program designed for Kobe University students committed to becoming global leaders and challenge agents. The program was designed to train participants on how to think creatively, critically, and innovatively in solving global problems.

A one-week intensive cross-cultural management program designed for professionals who can be the next generation leaders of Fujitsu Limited.
This program emphasizes the three key areas below:

Intercultural Health Care Management Program (IHCMP)
A customized, innovative program that
trained healthcare professionals from Japan about the Western managed
care system and included quality instruction in healthcare management
and site visits to leading health care facilities in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Go on a learning retreat! The individual seminars are open to the public. Courses are conducted in English. Participants must demonstrate a minimum English language proficiency equivalent to a TOEIC score of 550.
Global Skills Refresh Program (GSRP)
A one-week program for non-native English speakers. The GSRP aims to increase the participant’s ability to effectively handle business from a global perspective through deepening of one’s understanding of different cultures and broadening one’s adaptive capacity, knowledge, and skill.
Through the program, the participants will:
1. Strengthen English communication skills for business and daily life
2. Develop global business skills necessary to maneuver the business landscape
3. Enrich cross-cultural experiences through off-campus activities and homestay arrangements
