Example: Intercultural Health Care Management Program (IHCMP)
A customized, innovative program that trains health care professionals from Japan about the Western managed care system and includes quality instruction in health care management and site visits to leading health care facilities in Honolulu, Hawaii. Arranged in cooperation with Medical Consultants Corporation in Japan.

Global Skills Refresh Program (GSRP) -- Go on a learning retreat! The GSRP is a one-week program in Honolulu, Hawaii, for non-native English speakers.
  • Strengthen English communication skills for business and daily life
  • Develop global business skills
  • Participate in enriching cross-cultural experiences through off-campus activities and homestay arrangements

 

The GSRP is open to the public. Courses are conducted in English. Participants must demonstrate a minimum English language proficiency equivalent to a TOEIC score of 550. Courses in previous GSRP seminars have included:
