Management Training Series (GMTS) Overview
The GMTS is a grouping of time- and cost-effective
courses
for individuals that cover relevant aspects of international
business management. A few reasons professionals in Hawaii
and elsewhere are enrolling in the GMTS:
- Professional Development & Career Enhancement.
The GMTS is designed for professionals with high potential
who wish to enhance their careers or who simply want to
understand the practical applications of business principles,
tools and methods in the global business environment. Use
the GMTS to explore unfamiliar subjects and fields in business,
or to prepare for study at the graduate level, such as in
an MBA program. Receive a certificate upon successful completion
of each course.
- Accomplished Faculty. GMTS instructors
are all practicing and well-respected professionals in their
fields.
- Intercultural Networking. Courses are offered on
a course-by-course basis in conjunction with JAIMS' Intercultural
Management Program (ICMP), and participants study
in a multi-cultural environment with professionals from
around the world (e.g., Japan, China, France, Indonesia,
Malaysia, India, Philippines).
- Convenient Schedule. Each GMTS course consists
of eight three-hour sessions. GMTS courses are available
from April to July and from September to December.
- Partial Tuition Assistance. Partial tuition waivers
are available to members of the Honolulu Japanese Chamber
of Commerce and Honolulu Japanese Junior Chamber of Commerce.
Tuition discounts may also be available to groups of three
or more individuals; please inquire.
