JAIMS (Japan-America Institute of Management Science), a nonprofit postgraduate institute, has been a pioneer in intercultural management education since 1972.

 
Mission
JAIMS' mission is to contribute to human and economic development by educating and training individuals who can be effective knowledge-based leaders in an increasingly interdependent global economy.

History

JAIMS was first envisioned in the early 1970s by Yoshimitsu Kohra, then president of Fujitsu Ltd.
Campus/Facilities

JAIMS is located on a six-acre campus in the Honolulu suburb of Hawaii Kai on the island of Oahu.
Board of Trustees and Staff

The board of trustees is composed academic and business leaders from Japan and the United States.  The Honolulu-based staff provide programs and services.
