Blogging JAIMS
HONOLULU — Blogging has come to the JAIMS Web site. A small group of fall 2003 Intercultural Management Program (ICMP) students have started their own Web logs--or blogs--to share their experience with online readers. As members of the ICMP communications team, eight students will be writing in their individual blogs from the start to finish of their four-month program. The blogs can be found at http://www.jaims.org/blogs/ and are open to comments by readers. In this way, JAIMS hopes to share the intercultural perspective of students as they study U.S. culture and business principles while living in Hawaii. Blogging has been around since the early days of the Internet in 1994. Since then blogging has gone mainstream. Informed citizens, academia, and professionals are publishing their opinions and changing the landscape of journalism by drawing thousands of readers everyday. |
