ICMP 2001 Fall Class Begins New Term
HONOLULU — This
month, JAIMS welcomed the newest class of Intercultural
Management Program (ICMP) students for the 2001 fall
semester. This class of 33 students comes from five different countries:
Japan, Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, and Hong Kong.
After four months of studies, 22 students will
be going on the BEP for a two-month internship at a U.S. company.
In addition, one student will go to Reims Management School in France
for two months to study in the International Management Programme.
All the students bring with them diverse work
experiences from varied industries, including computer manufacturing,
information technology, banking, retail, education, accounting,
import and export trading, publishing, travel, insurance, medical,
legal consulting, and fire protection systems.
