New GBTP Participants Arrive at JAIMS
HONOLULU — JAIMS staff
welcomed 11 new participants for the Global Business Training Program
(GBTP) during an informal luncheon this afternoon.
Consisting of a four week curriculum, the GBTP program
includes courses in cross-cultural communication strategies, business
writing and presentation, international negotiation, leadership,
and entrepreneurship.
Included in the curriculum is the ahupua'a tour where
participants learn about Hawaiian culture in the picturesque beauty
of Kahana Valley.
This year the GBTP participants consist of nine men
and two women who range in experience from engineers, managers,
specialists, and consultants. |
