JEMBA/CHEMBA 2000-2001 Class Begins New Term
HONOLULU JAIMS
and the University of Hawai'i at Manoa College of Business
welcomed its largest group of Japan-focused
MBA (JEMBA) and China-focused MBA
(CHEMBA) students to begin a new term today. The class of 25
represents 11 countriesCanada, Hungary, Indonesia, Korea,
Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand
and the United States.
These JEMBA and CHEMBA students bring with them
diverse work experiences from varied industries, including publishing,
retailing, manufacturing, textile trading, airlines, telecommunications,
tourism, banking, engineering, advertising, biochemical, aerospace,
consultancy and financial services.
After finishing their 12-month coursework in
Honolulu, they will be leaving to do a three-month business internship
at a company in Japan or China. The current 1999-2000 JEMBA/CHEMBA
students begin their internships this month.
