Fall 1999 Intercultural Management Program Class
Graduates
HONOLULU Thirty-two students of the Fall
1999 class of the Intercultural Management
Program recently completed their four-month classroom training
on American business management. To continue their training, 22
are involved in two-month internships with companies in Hawaii and
the mainland U.S., and three are doing a two-month internship study
in France.
As part of the ICMP's Business
Exchange Program, some of the companies that are currently hosting
students as interns include Disney World Resort, Kahala Mandarin
Oriental Hotel, Global Sight, Imada Wong Communications, Kaiser
Permanente and International Business Incubator.
For the first time, JAIMS offered a European
option for the ICMP students. Located about 40 miles northeast of
Paris, Reims Management School, one of the top business schools
in France, offers the International Management Programme to help
better understand international business and the European perspective
on global economy and the impact of cultural differences on management
techniques and practices.
