JEMBA Program
JAIMS will provide the Japanese
language and culture training to prepare students to work effectively
as members of a large corporate
community.
Learning Objectives
Course content may vary depending on the individual student's
proficiency, but students finishing the program will have an
understanding of the following:
- Japanese history
- Geography
- Literature
- Sociology
- Life in Japan
- Japanese characters
Language Objectives
300+ hours of language training includes raising oral proficiency
levels and developing reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills
within a business context as well as becoming familiar with corporate
and social culture.
Prior language training is helpful but not required. You
will be tested and placed in classes according to your proficiency.
