Pita Pura (ICMP-00F) recently earned her master's degree in Industrial Relations, Human Resources Development from the School of Labor and Industrial Relations, University of the Philippines. Her thesis, a case study of selected Philippine firms, is about ISO 9000 and employee involvement. It was an exploratory study and described as "pioneer research" in the Philippines.

It is Asia Pacific's leading GDS (global distribution systems) company. The company searched for "two unusually bright" MBAs among its employees for their one-year Management Associate Program, and James was one of the two selected.
